Observations
- Haven't seen one homeless person
- Unlike Chicago, people never use their car horns
- Nice people, beyond mere politeness
- No big butts, maybe out in the Wellington burbs
- Lots o' Chinese and Sushi restaurants
- Girls are natural looking, no dyed, helmet heads
- Best restaurants, not only food wise, but decor
- Currency - Only 10,20,50 cent coins
- Bills are made out of plastic
- The wind is insane
- Give up parting your hair
- Wear sunglasses, not only to keep out debris shrapnel, but to minimize squinting(er)
- Suck in belly at all times, your shirt is constantly pressed against your frontal
- Funny words and/or way of saying them:
- Year = Yee-uh
- Test = Teeest
- Reckon = yeah, they use this..such a southern thing to say
- For validation, they'll say..”mmmh..mmmmh..”
- Bits and pieces
- Pinch that (take)
- Take Out = Take away
- Crack on
- Tall Poppy Syndrome (when someone [poppy] get too tall [big for their britches] they'll chop them off)
- Flip flops = Thongs (Aus) Jandals (NZ)
- Lolly = Candy

- Pineapple lumps
